We are in Trentola-Ducenta, a town between Naples and Caserta that nobody outside of Campania has heard of. Five people in an office that used to be an apartment. The rent is cheap. The work is good.
The agency started in 2016 because the founder got tired of working for Roman translation agencies that charged clients a fortune and paid translators very little. She moved back to Campania and built something small and honest.
Most of our early work was emigration translation. Campania sent millions of people abroad between 1880 and 1970. Their descendants, mostly in the Americas, are now applying for Italian citizenship. The paperwork is enormous and every document needs certified translation. We became very good at it.
Then the food producers found us. Then the universities. Then the lawyers. Now we do five things well and we do not pretend to do anything else.
The name was chosen to be memorable. It works. People google "pretentious translator" and find us. They laugh. Then they send us their documents. Then they come back.
Albo CTU, Tribunale di Santa Maria Capua Vetere. Real certification, not a rubber stamp.
Two people on every project. Translator + reviewer. This is not negotiable.
Not Naples centro. Not Rome. Not Milan. Trentola-Ducenta prices for professional quality work.
